Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with over 10 years in project management within website development, with specific expertise in handling custom WordPress projects. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing team performance, delegating tasks, and ensuring project success through strategic management and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for WordPress website development projects.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
- Team Management:
- Oversee and support a team of designers, developers, testers, and content creators, ensuring collaboration and effective teamwork.
- Foster a positive, productive environment that motivates the team and drives high performance.
- Task Delegation:
- Assign tasks based on team members’ strengths, expertise, and workloads, balancing efficiency with skill development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and resources.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor and evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for skill enhancement.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve team conflicts promptly, maintaining a professional work environment.
- Implement communication strategies that support team harmony and effective problem-solving.
- Basic Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization within project management and team collaboration processes.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance productivity and streamline project delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management, with a strong background in website development; familiarity with WordPress is essential.
- PMP certification or comparable.
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in task delegation, conflict resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of WordPress development and related web technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects.
